Programme introduction

The China Sourcing Initiative (CSI) was launched in 2007 and is part of our Graduate Programme for students studying in the United States and Canada who are interested in relocating back to Mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau to work for PwC China-Hong Kong after graduation.

We have dedicated recruiting professionals based in North America who will recruit students who are interested and meet them on campus or at PwC offices across North America. All CSI applicants will follow a selection process equivalent to the process for China and Hong Kong based applicants, but without having to travel to China or Hong Kong for it.

If you graduated from university in the United States or Canada in 2017 or will be graduating before September of 2018, you can join our Graduate Programme through CSI.

Both Bachelor and Master graduates of all disciplines are welcome but you have to be eligible to work in Mainland China, Hong Kong or Macau without a working visa.

For overseas graduates from universities outside of North America, please follow our main graduate recruitment journey here.

What our CSI recruits say

Sherry Yang Senior Associate - Tax - Beijing As a graduate with a major in accounting, PwC was my first choice. Through CSI, I had my interview in the US while I was still studying without the hassle of having to travel back to China. I wanted to work in tax because I knew that the China tax regulations would be undergoing some changes. I learned a great deal in the Beijing office and helped provide customised solutions to many different Chinese clients. PwC really does provide graduates with lots of learning and development opportunities. I hope you come and join us!
Helen Cheng Manager - Advisory - Hong Kong Starting my career with PwC Hong Kong after graduating in the US was without doubt one of the best decisions I’ve made. The CSI programme provided me with the platform to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry. PwC has certainly lived up to its promise of offering me the ‘opportunity of a lifetime’! In addition to making some life-long friendships and connecting with an amazing network of talent, the tremendous resources available to support my personal and professional growth have actually exceeded my expectations!
John Ren Associate, Assurance, Shanghai What I like most about PwC is the diversity of PwC network. I had chances to work with PwCers around the world in the past two years. It's amazing the way that people who have different background, and live in exactly opposite time zone are able to come together, set aside their differences and contribute to something greater than themselves.
